Secondary Physics Teacher (Grades 9-10)

Role Overview

We are seeking a subject matter expert in Physics to lead our secondary grade students (Grades 9-10). The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong foundation in core concepts such as Mechanics, Light, Electricity, and Magnetism. We are looking for an educator who can effectively bridge the gap between abstract formulas and real-world applications, ensuring students are both 'exam-ready' and 'concept-clear.'

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Mastery: Deliver in-depth lessons based on the CBSE, ICSE, or State Board syllabus, focusing on conceptual clarity and the derivation of formulas.
• Numerical Proficiency: Train students in a systematic approach to solving complex numerical problems and word problems.
• Lab Instruction: Conduct formal laboratory experiments, teaching students how to record observations, manage apparatus, and analyze data accurately.
• Exam Preparation: Design and grade periodic tests, mock exams, and practice papers to prepare students for high-stakes board examinations.
• Competitive Exam Foundation: Introduce foundational concepts for competitive exams such as JEE and NEET without overwhelming the core school syllabus.
• Analytical Thinking: Encourage critical thinking by discussing the 'why' behind physical laws, moving beyond rote memorization.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: A Master’s degree in Physics (M.Sc.) or a B.Tech degree with a strong teaching background. A B.Ed. is mandatory for this secondary school role.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Physics to Grades 9 and 10.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using simulation tools (such as PhET) or digital lab software to visualize abstract concepts.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex theories using simple analogies and clear, logical steps.
