Physical Training (PT) & Sports Instructor

Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic and disciplined Physical Training (PT) & Sports Instructor to lead our physical education program in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the gross motor skills of our students through structured, engaging physical activities. Your goal is to instill a lifelong passion for fitness, movement, and sportsmanship in every child from an early age.

Key Responsibilities

• Movement Education: Design and lead age-appropriate exercises focused on improving students' balance, coordination, agility, and flexibility.
• Sports Instruction: Introduce fundamental techniques for various sports—including Cricket, Basketball, Kabaddi, and Athletics—using modified, child-safe equipment.
• Event Coordination: Spearhead the organization of the Annual Sports Day, inter-class competitions, and morning assembly drills.
• Safety & First Aid: Ensure the playground and equipment remain safe at all times. Serve as the primary first-aid responder for any minor playground injuries.
• Discipline & Teamwork: Utilize games to teach children the importance of following rules, working as a team, and maintaining a positive attitude in both victory and defeat.
• Equipment Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all sports gear and ensure it is stored and handled professionally.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: A Degree or Diploma in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed). Additional certifications in specialized coaching or Yoga are a plus.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked with pre-primary or primary school children.
• Physical Fitness: Must be highly active and capable of demonstrating exercises and running drills alongside students.
• Soft Skills: Strong voice command, exceptional patience, and a high level of enthusiasm to motivate young learners.
