Secondary Hindi Language & Literature Teacher (Grades 9-10)

Role Overview

We are seeking an academically rigorous and culturally inspired Secondary Hindi Teacher to lead our Grade 9 and 10 students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing students for their Board Examinations by mastering the prescribed curriculum (including Sparsh/Sanchayan or Kshitij/Kritika). Beyond the syllabus, you will instill a deep appreciation for Hindi literature and improve students' ability to express complex thoughts with grammatical accuracy and stylistic flair.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Excellence: Deliver comprehensive lessons on Hindi prose, poetry, and supplementary readers in accordance with CBSE, ICSE, or State Board standards.
• Grammar (Vyakaran): Teach advanced grammar concepts, including Samas, Sandhi, Vakya Rupantaran, and Alankar, with high precision.
• Writing Skills: Train students in formal letter writing (Patra Lekhan), analytical essays (Anuched Lekhan), and notice writing (Suchna Lekhan).
• Literary Analysis: Guide students in interpreting the themes, metaphors, and social contexts of works by legendary authors and poets.
• Language Proficiency: Focus on improving students' vocabulary, correct pronunciation (Ucharan), and spelling accuracy (Vartani), which are critical for board examination success.
• Assessment: Conduct regular answer-writing practice sessions and provide detailed, constructive feedback based on board-pattern mock tests.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: M.A. in Hindi and a B.Ed. degree are mandatory. Candidates with a specialization in Hindi Literature are highly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically handling Grade 9 and 10 Board classes.
• Skills: Strong command over both formal (Sanskritized) and functional Hindi. Ability to explain complex poetic verses in simple, relatable terms.
• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad.
